Celebrating the Success of the Black British Book Festival’s Nationwide Tour

The Black British Book Festival (BBBF) embarked on an extraordinary literary voyage, encompassing seven vibrant cities during its nationwide tour. Commencing in Peterborough on August 5th, 2023, the tour featured over 30 remarkable Black British authors, captivating audiences with diverse narratives and interactive literary events.

Although unforeseen circumstances affected Liverpool, the journey continued, leaving an indelible mark on Luton, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Birmingham, and culminating in Croydon on September 30th, 2023. This exhilarating experience united communities, celebrated cultural diversity, and promoted inclusivity in literature, thanks to the invaluable contributions of authors, organisers, venues, and enthusiastic participants. The BBBF Book Tour stands as a testament to shared creativity, fostering a collective love for literature and storytelling across the UK.
