Magdalene Abraha FRSA is a writer and multi-award winning publisher. She was one of the youngest columnists at the Independent Newspaper and now writes regularly for The Economist, The Guardian, VICE, Stylist, Vogue and more. She has worked with and at publishing houses such as Bloomsbury, Jacaranda and I.B Tauris. Elle Magazine named Magdalene as one of their 10 Trailblazing Women, she was in Forbes 30 under 30 2022 for her work in media and publishing, was awarded the BBC1xtra Future Figures award in 2022 and made a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts for her work in media and publishing. Abraha was a Bookseller’s Rising Star and was also awarded the LBF Trailblazer award 2020 for her contribution to publishing.
