Join award-winning author and creator of JoJo & Gran Gran, Laura Henry-Allain MBE, for a joyful reading of Maya & Marley and the New Friend, a warm story about kindness, confidence and making everyone feel welcome. Through storytelling, movement and audience participation, children will help Maya and Marley welcome a shy new visitor to Grove Adventure Playground. They will then become “Friendship Builders”, creating a badge or character inspired by the qualities that make a brilliant friend—from kindness and bravery to sharing and fun.
